As a mentor, you can
provide tips, guidance and even advice sometimes - take some time to understand
where your mentee is coming from to ensure your suggestions are relevant to
their needs. However, this changes when your mentee is faced with big decisions
such as whether to apply for a promotion or which job opportunity to take. This
is when you need to ask your mentee a series of questions that help them to dig
deeper in exploring the issue and figuring out the right solution for
themselves.
