About Catherine Mossop

Catherine has deep expertise in supporting organizations in finding ways to capitalize on their talent and deliver better outcomes through: designing mentoring initiatives that increase engagement of stakeholders, retains and accelerates high-potential talent, improves the overall caliber of leadership decision-making and delivers on strategy.

Key to her success has been the ability to take complex people issues set within the organizational context and conceptualize a practical implementation process that sets the stage for both immediate and longer-term success.  Her expertise spans: talent assessment and talent mapping; designing leadership and career development frameworks; building coaching and mentoring capacity in organizations; coaching and mentoring for employee remediation and restoration; career development/planning and transition management.

Catherine has worked with multi-faceted organizations in the public, private and 3rd sectors. A selection of her clients include: Teaching and community hospitals and long term care facilities in Ontario and Bermuda, Federal Government, many Ontario Government Ministries, many health service providers, mining/construction/industrials, banks and financial institutions, technology and pharmaceuticals, and professional associations.

Catherine is a thought leader, International speaker and author. She is a co-author: Mentoring and the World of Work in Canada ; author, Me2 e-Resource for Mentors and Protégés , Cascade to Wisdom, La fontaine de la sagesse  resources for Mentors and Protégés, A Quick Guide for Mentoring Partners, contributing author to: Successful Professional Women of the Americas: From Polar Winds to Tropical Breezes, Edward Elgar Publishing; Developing Successful Diversity Mentoring Programmes, An International Casebook, McGraw Hill. She is currently working with Dr. Joanne Leck on a Chapter for a Textbook on Mentoring to be published by Sage Publishing in 2017.

Catherine is a Fellow Certified Management Consultant, an honour bestowed on individuals for their contribution to their field of expertise, the profession, and to society; a Fellow Certified Career Management Professional; Certified Human Resources Leader; and an alumnus of the Governor General Canadian Leadership Conference.
