For some dreams you make take all the necessary steps, contact all the right people and share your dream with everyone you know. At some point you may get discouraged and put that dream on-hold. And when you least expect it that dream may come true.
Call one person a day. Let them know why you are raising money and ask them if this is a cause that they are interested in supporting at this time. They can donate or participate.
Communicating product updates and upgrades through an email will only go so far. Set-up actual meetings to discuss how enhancements will meet your customers needs and create an enriched experience.
You may need to stop the old way of doing something to make room for the new. It may feel awkward at first. Resist the temptation to go back to what’s comfortable. Commit to giving the new way a try, measure results and then decide.
You may have an inner urge to take action, to pursue something different, or to put more passion into something that you already do because you see a greater purpose. Listen to these inner callings and let them drive you.
For the personal project set a daily goal in your calendar that is manageable and that doesn’t take up too much time. This will keep your personal project moving forward on a daily basis without distracting you from your day job.
